Private Events

Birthdays, anniversaries and private celebrations, with a setup sized to the party. Simple to book, and there is no event too small.

Private Events

What it is

Private events cover birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations of every size. What they have in common is that they are personal, so the setup should suit the party rather than the other way round.

The range is deliberately wide. At the simple end, two speakers, a DJ stand and a controller. At the other end, a full production with lighting, effects and staging.

They are simple to book. Tell us the date and the kind of night you have in mind and we will point you at the right starting point.

How it works

01

Start with the packages

Our private event packages are the quickest way to see what a party like yours usually needs.

02

Send the enquiry form

Fill it in and we will send you the brochures for your event type, so you can see the options properly.

03

Pick your scale

Two speakers and a controller at one end, a full production at the other, and plenty in between.

04

Add the moments

Cold sparklers on the cake cut is the one people remember. Lighting does a great deal for a room that starts out plain.

05

Set up before guests arrive

Installed and sound checked before anyone walks in, as with every event we do.

06

Talk to us

If you are not sure what your party needs, that is a perfectly normal place to start. We will guide you.

What a private event can include

Build up from the simple end as far as the night warrants, and no further.

Thirty guests to five hundred

The same care either way. A small celebration at home and a five hundred guest party are both normal for us.

At home or at a venue

Private residences and venues both work. Each brings its own considerations and we will walk you through yours.

The simple setup

Two speakers, a DJ stand and a DJ controller. Everything a straightforward party actually needs.

Dancefloor lighting

Colour and movement that turn an ordinary room into somewhere people want to dance.

Cold sparklers

Fired at the cake cut. Indoor safe, no flame and no smoke, and it is the photograph everyone keeps.

Live musicians

A saxophone or a singer for part of the night lifts a private party more than people expect.

Full production

Staging, trussing and effects when the celebration deserves the scale.

Brochures for your event type

Send the enquiry form and we will send the material that matches what you are planning.

Good to know

How small is too small?

There is no event too small. We work anywhere from around thirty guests up to five hundred, and a garden party with two speakers is as welcome as a full production.

What is the simplest setup you do?

Two speakers, a DJ stand and a DJ controller.

Can we have sparklers indoors?

Yes. Cold sparklers throw light rather than flame, with no heat and no smoke, so venues that ban fireworks will usually still allow them.

How do we see what things include?

Have a look at the private event packages, then send the enquiry form and we will send the brochures for your event type.

We are not sure what we need.

Then talk to us. Guiding people to the right setup is most of what a first conversation is for.

We are having it at home. Anything to think about?

Neighbours, mainly. Music at party volume carries further than people expect, so it is worth a quiet word beforehand and worth agreeing where the speakers point.

Does our venue need to know?

Yes, and this is the one we would push hardest. Confirm with the venue that they know there will be a DJ and that the volume you have in mind is allowed. It is far better to find out now than to have us turn the music down once the floor is finally full.
