Who Magda is
Magda is based in Malta and plays cello and sings, both in the same performance. That combination is still rare here, and it is the reason couples book her rather than a cellist and a vocalist separately.
She travels for events outside Malta on the same basis as the rest of our artists, with a travel fee quoted up front rather than added on afterwards.
What she plays
The repertoire is mainly classical for the ceremony, moving into upbeat and popular music as the day goes on. We can send you her full repertoire on request so you can pick the pieces yourself.
When she plays alongside the DJ she is on an electric cello, amplified through the mixer and the sound system so it sits inside the set rather than beside it. She sings live over the same set.
A cellist who also sings is something new in Malta, and it goes down really well.

Ceremony
Classical cello for the ceremony, played on her own or alongside the DJ, depending on the space and what you want the moment to feel like.

The sound moves into lounge and classy, easy listening, then into pop as the evening builds.

Three ways to do it. She can sing live over the track, play cello over it, or sing and play at the same time.

Live with the DJ
For the upbeat part of the night she plays electric cello, amplified through the mixer and sound system, with live vocals over the DJ set.

With the other artists
Magda, Justine Sax on saxophone and NEO-X on the decks perform together as the Cello Sax Girls, a DJ and live fusion set.

Sound, mixer, microphones and lighting all come from us, so there is nothing for you or the venue to arrange separately.
