Fifteen years behind the decks. House at heart, club and festival floors across Europe, and the part of the night at your wedding where everyone ends up dancing.
NEO-X started the way most of it starts, with a love of music and a habit of collecting it. That turned into playing out, and playing out turned into clubs, festivals and producing and releasing original music. Fifteen years on, it is still the same job: read the room, and take it somewhere.
Those two worlds feed each other. The club and festival sets are where the sound gets sharpened, and the wedding and corporate floors are where it gets tested against a room of people who did not come for the DJ. Both matter, and NEO-X plays both.
The record collection is house. Deep, melodic, progressive. That is the music NEO-X loves and the music the club sets are built from.
A wedding or a corporate party is a different brief and gets treated like one. There are guests of every age in front of the booth, and the set reflects that. The aim is to get people up and keep them there, which means the songs that always work, mixed with a few they were not expecting to hear.
Your music comes first. Every couple and every organiser is asked for the songs they want before the date, and the playlist is built around what they send.
01
Before the date we ask you for the songs you want, the ones you love and the ones you would rather not hear. The set is built around that list, not around a stock wedding playlist.
02
Ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and the first dance are usually covered by one of our in-house Malta DJ Events DJs, so the tone through the meal stays right.
03
From the first dance onwards, when the evening turns into a party, NEO-X takes over the booth for the party and afterparty section.
04
The playlist is a starting point, not a script. What happens next depends on who is dancing, what is landing and how much night is left.
05
NEO-X and Justine Sax play as a duo, live saxophone over the DJ set. With Magda on cello and vocals as well, the three of them perform together as the Cello Sax Girls.

Decks, DJ monitor, sound and lighting all come from us. There is nothing for you or the venue to hire in separately.

NEO-X's calendar fills up quickly. Once you have your date and venue, that is the moment to talk to us.
A selection of past sets, clubs and festivals.
Yes, and we ask for it. Send us the songs you want and the ones you would rather avoid, and the set gets built around that. On the night the order changes to suit the floor, but your list is the starting point.
No. House is the sound NEO-X loves and what the club sets are built from, but a wedding or a corporate party has guests of every age and the music reflects that.
Usually not. One of our in-house DJs covers the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and first dance, and NEO-X takes the party and afterparty section from the first dance onwards. If you want it arranged differently, ask us.
Yes. NEO-X and Justine Sax play together as a duo, and with Magda on cello and vocals the three perform as the Cello Sax Girls.
As early as you can. Sort out your date and your venue first, then talk to us. Once we know the venue we can be specific about what works in that space, and NEO-X's calendar fills up quickly.
No. The decks, the DJ monitor, the sound and the lighting all come from us, so everything comes from one supplier.
Send us your date and venue and we will come back to confirm availability, then talk through what works in your space. The artists get booked up early, so the sooner the better.
