Corporate Events

Networking evenings, gala dinners, conferences, summer and Christmas parties. Ten years of getting corporate nights right in Malta.

Corporate Events

What it is

Corporate work covers an enormous range. A small networking evening and a large Christmas party are both corporate events and they need almost nothing in common.

We have been doing them in Malta for at least ten years, which mostly means we have seen where they go wrong. Sound that cannot carry a speech. Lighting that leaves a branded room looking flat. A supplier who disappears the moment the gear is in the door.

The most useful thing you can do is tell us what you are planning, even if it is early and only half formed. We will tell you what it actually needs.

How it works

01

Tell us what you are planning

A date, a venue and a rough idea of the evening is enough to start. You do not need a written brief.

02

We work out what it needs

Sound for speeches is a different problem from sound for a party. We will tell you which one you have, and it is often both.

03

Artists and equipment together

We supply both, so the DJ, the musicians and the technical side are booked once and coordinated by the same team.

04

Branding built in

Your logo cut as a gobo and projected onto a wall or a screen, printed and mounted on the trussing, or carried through the room in your company colours. There are more ways to do it than most clients expect.

05

Seated evenings and gala dinners

A gala starts with a meal, so the music has to sit under conversation rather than over it. Get that judgement wrong and guests raise their voices all night.

06

Musicians, a DJ, or both

We can bring a full band, a DJ, live musicians, or the fusion of musicians over a DJ set that we are best known for.

07

Set up before anyone arrives

Everything installed and sound checked before your first guest walks in. That is true of every event we do.

The events we are asked for most

Different rooms, different problems, and the last three are about who plays rather than what the night is. Tell us which is closest to yours.

Networking evenings

Music that fills the silence without making people raise their voices. Harder than it sounds and the thing most often got wrong.

Gala dinners

A seated meal, speeches, awards and a party at the end. Live musicians work particularly well here.

Conferences

Speech sound, staging, screens and projection, run to your programme by a crew who keep to time.

Product launches

The reveal has to land. Lighting, sound and effects timed to the moment rather than left to chance.

Summer parties

Outdoor sound and power, and a setup that copes with the heat and with guests spreading out.

Christmas parties

The biggest night in the corporate calendar and the one that books earliest. Worth talking to us well ahead.

Saxophone

The most requested by a distance. Warm, confident and easy to place over a DJ set.

Violin or a singer

The more classical end. Suits a formal room and a formal programme.

Percussion

The upbeat option. Pairs with afro house and anything meant to build energy rather than hold it.

Good to know

We do not know what we need yet. Is it too early to call?

No, and earlier is better. Half the value we add is in the first conversation, before anything is booked.

Can you brand the room?

Yes. Lighting set to your company colours, and your logo cut as a gobo and projected onto a wall or another surface in the space.

Do you handle the technical side as well as the entertainment?

Both. Our event production page sets out how far that goes, from dry hire through to full production.

How far ahead should we book?

Christmas parties go first and go early. For everything else, as soon as you have a date.

How long have you been doing corporate work?

At least ten years in Malta. Our clients are typically iGaming, finance, construction and real estate companies.

How far ahead do companies usually come to you?

Anywhere from a few weeks to a few months out. The sooner the better, simply because it gives us time to plan and coordinate properly.

Will the music be too loud during dinner?

Not if it is judged properly, and at a gala that is the main thing we manage. Guests should be able to talk at the table without raising their voices, and the evening lifts once the meal is done.
