Open Positions
Set up, operate and break down full PA systems. Comfortable at FOH, handling mics for live musicians and speeches, and running DMX lighting and special effects.
Hands-on work with truss, speakers and cables. Physically capable, detail-oriented, and thriving in a fast-paced events setup environment.
Plan, coordinate and lead the full technical operation across multiple events. Manage job sheets, crew scheduling, logistics and van loading.
Work from home responding to event enquiries, following up leads and managing client bookings. Roughly 1–4 hours a day. Earn more when you perform.

Sound Technician | Rigger | Technical Production Manager
Malta DJ Events is a growing live events company based in Malta, delivering weddings, corporate productions, and club nights across the island. We’re expanding our technical team and looking for talented professionals at multiple levels — whether you’re a hands-on rigger, an experienced sound technician, or a senior technical manager ready to lead operations.
Rigger / Junior Technician
You know your way around truss, speakers, and cables. You’re physically capable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced setup environment.
Sound Technician
You can set up, operate, and break down a full PA system independently. You’re comfortable at FOH, handling microphones for live musicians and speeches, and operating DMX lighting and special effects live during events.
Technical Production Manager
You don’t just execute — you plan. You manage job sheets, coordinate and book technicians for the week, oversee logistics and van loading, and take full ownership of the technical operation across multiple events.

Sales & Bookings Coordinator
We’re one of Malta’s go-to DJ, events and audio visual hire companies, and we’re looking for someone special to join our team.
This is a work-from-home role based in Malta. No office. No commute. Just you, your phone, and a steady stream of warm inquiries from real people planning real events.
What the Role Looks Like
- Respond to event inquiries (we give you great software to manage it all)
- Follow up on time, every time
- Communicate clearly and with energy
- Stay on top of bookings and client communication
If you’re genuinely good at sales and follow-through, you’ll earn more. Simple as that.
⏱ Time commitment: roughly 1 to 4 hours a day depending on how busy we are.
Who We’re Looking For
- Based in Malta — essential
- Fluent, well-spoken English
- Experience in events, hospitality or entertainment industry
- Knowledge of DJing or AV is a bonus — not a dealbreaker

Open Format DJ — Weddings & Corporate Events
Malta DJ Events performs at some of the most prestigious weddings and corporate events on the island, and our DJs are at the heart of every celebration. We’re looking for experienced open format DJs who can read a room, keep the energy right throughout the night, and represent our brand with professionalism.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing at weddings, corporate dinners, private parties and club nights across Malta
- Reading the crowd and adapting your set in real time
- Working closely with the client and events team on song requests and timelines
- Setting up and operating Pioneer DJ equipment (we provide full technical support)
- Representing Malta DJ Events on and off the decks — always professional, always presentable
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience DJing at weddings or corporate events — not just clubs
- Comfortable with a wide range of genres: pop, commercial, R&B, Latin, classics, and more
- Confident handling MCs, live musicians and speeches as part of the event flow
- Familiar with Pioneer DJ equipment (XDJ, CDJ, DDJ)
- Fluent English — you’ll interact with international clients
- Based in Malta or willing to relocate

Musician — Live Performance for Events
We regularly bring live musicians into our events to elevate the experience — from saxophonists and guitarists at cocktail hours to full live acts for wedding receptions. If you’re a polished, professional performer who thrives in event environments, we’d love to hear from you.

Events Manager
Behind every great event is someone who made sure everything went exactly to plan. We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Events Manager to join our core team and take ownership of event planning and delivery from start to finish.
This role sits at the centre of our operation — you’ll be the bridge between our clients, our DJs, our technical crew, and our management. If you love the energy of events and you’re the kind of person who thrives on getting things right, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing events end-to-end: from initial client brief through to post-event wrap-up
- Building and maintaining event timelines, run sheets and briefing documents
- Coordinating DJs, musicians, technical crew and vendors for each event
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients in the lead-up to their event
- Attending key events on the day to ensure smooth execution
- Identifying and solving problems before they become issues
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in events management, preferably within weddings, hospitality or entertainment
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communicator — confident with clients, crew and suppliers alike
- Calm, solutions-focused under pressure
- Familiar with the Malta events landscape (preferred, not essential)

Accounts Executive
We’re a busy, fast-growing events company and we need someone sharp and reliable to keep our financials in order. This is a part-time or full-time role for someone who’s comfortable with day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing and financial admin in a creative, fast-moving environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Raising and tracking client invoices and following up on outstanding payments
- Processing supplier invoices and expenses
- Maintaining up-to-date bookkeeping records
- Preparing basic financial reports and summaries for management
- Liaising with our accountant at month and year end
- Supporting the team with general financial administration
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounts or financial administration
- Comfortable with accounting software (experience with Xero, QuickBooks or similar is a plus)
- High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling financial data
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Based in Malta
- Fluent English
